Description
This hands-on course is designed to teach dentists, auxiliaries, or technicians the entire process of creating expedited digital dentures including the clinical steps, digital design process in Blue Sky Plan and Exocad, and the digital fabrication using 3d printing. This course will include live patient treatment. Participants should bring their own powerful laptop to design cases in the hands-on portion. (Min specs: 32 GB RAM, NVIDIA 1070 video card, or equivalent, with 4GB dedicated memory, i7 processor).
Learning Objectives:
- Develop a streamlined workflow to capture all the necessary data in one clinical appt. allowing for 2nd visit final denture delivery using the novel Glenn Denture Impression Trays
- Learn how to digitize all the necessary data to do ideal smile design and create a digital denture
- Explore various technologies and their roles in digital denture fabrication such as facial scanners, desktop scanners, intraoral scanners, and 3d printers
- Learn to use the BSB Digital Denture Module and Exocad to virtually set teeth and generate digital dentures
- Understand the various materials and fabrication options for fabricating the actual denture such as 3d printing, milling, or injecting traditional acrylic in house
- Learn affordable ways to blend traditional and digital denture techniques
- Learn how to 3d print dentures and the process of bonding teeth to the base and how to polish for delivery

CE HOURS: 16 CE Hours, AGD 670 issued through BlueSkyBio. This program is half live lecture and half self-participation, 8 hours hands on 8 hours lecture.

COURSE SPEAKERS:
Cory Glenn, DDS- Clinical Technology Director for Blue Sky Bio. Dr. Glenn graduated from University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Dentistry. Following graduation, he completed the Lutheran Medical Center’s advanced program in general dentistry at the UT Memphis branch. He is a graduate of the Georgia Maxi Course in Implant Dentistry, the American Orthodontic Society’s Comprehensive Ortho Program, and is credentialed as an Associate Fellow in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
